Our first tip is easy and that is to have the couple and maybe their families make a list of photos they want to take.  When the day is hectic and chaotic, this will help immensely when you are trying to get family and group shots later on in the day.You will love how you can just go through your list and get all the shots you want without leaving anything out.

The second tip on our list is to not delete any shots.  In this day and age of digital cameras, most photographers use them.Even though they are great, it is also tempting since it is so easy, to delete a shot.Don’t bother even peeking at the previews.What you think may be a great photo, can differ widely in what the couple considers a great photo.You never know, they might like all those so called un “professional shots.

A third tip to consider is making sure you get candid shots.A good wedding photographer doesn’t look to just take your typical shots, like group shots, or wedding shots or your standard newly married shots.  But they will also try and capture the emotions of the day through the shots of all the people that were there.  And that includes some of the things that could go wrong, like a flower girl not making it all the way to the front, or the ring bearer dropping the rings.Every picture counts.

The fourth one to consider, and something that can easily be overlooked is to make sure you have several cameras with several lenses as backup.Do you even want to think of the horror of not being able to take any more shots of the wedding because of a broken camera.Plan for the worst that could go wrong.Being prepared with more equipment will ensure that you avoid that awkward moment of not being able to finish the rest of the day because of a broken camera.

Lastly, make sure to practice for your lighting. The difference between the lighting in the church and the outside reception can throw you a curve ball, so just practice for all different lighting situations. Think about seeing if you can go to the locations of the big day and look for the best spots to take pictures as well as study the lighting needs.

For special days, most people want to capture those special memories with pictures, especially if it is a wedding, I know from first hand experience as a San Diego Wedding Photographer; so it is very important that you research the photographer you are going to trust for the job.  So why not ask friends and family for some recommendations.  Their recommendations will help you formulate a list of candidates for the job.

After talking with your friends and family, you should now have a good list of photographers to work with.  With that, take a look at their websites.  See if they have an online portfolio for you to view.  By looking at their past work, you will get a better idea of whether or not their style and the types of shots that they take are in line with what you have in mind.  By doing this, you can narrow your list down even more to the photographers whose work you like so far.

Third, start to call up the photographers and conduct a phone interview.  Once you have narrowed your list of photographers down to about two or three you can call them up and begin your interviewing process.  You can then make an appointment to meet with the photographer and view their portfolios if you have not already viewed it online.  During these phone interviews it is important to ask questions.  The more specific you are with your question the better understanding you will get as to whether or not the photographer is the one you are looking for.  While on the phone you should ask the photographer to bring in his collection of coverage of one particular event so that you will know exactly what to expect from that photographer.

The symbols alone have kept me intrigued for years and ancient Chinese culture has some of the most interesting tales and lore of any civilization on earth. I highly recommend you to take the time to learn this wonderful language if you feel the same way. With that said however, here are a few things that you need to know before beginning.

For starters, unlike a “simpler” language like Italian, Chinese has a complexity to it that requires solid instruction. You can surely find a mediocre course on just about any language and steer yourself through it successfully, but with Chinese, this is simply not the case. A substandard course will make you feel frustrated, ripped-off, and in the end will more oftern than not quit.
